JANUARY 2009
Silvia and Dirk Gallowsky both celebrated their 40th Birthdays on January 31, 2009. They asked their friends to donate on behalf of teenagers at Baphumelele to help support them in their education. Thank you Silvia and Dirk - you are extremely generous! A total amount of EURO 2.305 was donated. Thank you to all your friends and family!
MARCH 2009
Our little friends in the US - Elena and Jacopo - asked their friends on behalf of their 2nd Birthday to donate to the Capricorn Foundation instead of bringing gifts. An amount of USD 700 was collected and we would like to thank all your friends for this generous and kind contribution. With this amount we will continue to support the Peace Corp Volunteer helping at Bana ba Letsatsi.

Elia will be celebrating his 50th Birthday (!!!) on the 29th of May and has decided to forego presents on behalf of the Capricorn Children. Elia we wish you a wonderful Birthday Party.

Birthday party for Eveline Banthien on December 15, 2007 - donates on behalf of Capricorn Foundation - the donation was used for “Casa da Família” to furnish and equip the kindergarden. Below are the pictures that show the kindergarden in it’s current operation.

AUGUST 2007
On the 25th of August 2007 Elena and Jacopo were baptized in Montalto, Liguria, Italy. Their parents Gianna and Pier decided to ask their friends to donate to children in need instead of bringing gifts and presents. At the lovely christening a total amount of Euro 3.700 were donated to the Capricorn foundation and we built a sportsground at the project Bana ba Letsatsi with these funds. Below you can see the construction phases and the children playing in the shade after it was completed.
